Education Training and Technical Assistance Support Project

The Research and Educational Planning Center, in collaboration with the Nevada Department of Education (NDE), Educational Equity Team, coordinates and provides training and technical assistance on current issues and trends in the education of students with disabilities, ages three through twenty-one.

To meet the diverse needs of Nevada's educators, administrators, family members, related services providers, paraprofessionals, and others, several efforts are targeted, to include:
  • Assisting in the coordination and implementation of the annual Mega Conference
  • Assisting in the coordination of the TEEM Transition Institutes
  • Assisting in the coordination of the 2000 Summer Symposium for Special Education
  • Providing other training and technical assistance efforts as deemed appropriate by the Nevada Department of Education and other collaborating agencies and organizations.
Training and technical assistance efforts are designed to meet the needs of special and general educators, administrators, family members, pre-K-12 students, university students and faculty, community members, governing bodies, and others.
