Nevada Access
The Nevada Access is a quarterly newspaper for individuals with disabilities, their families, and the professionals who support them. It is produced in both paper and Internet versions by the Nevada University Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities at the University of Nevada in Reno. Funding is provided through the Department of Health and Human Services, the Administration on Developmental Disabilities, and the Administration on Children and Families.

Nevada Access: Community Inclusion This double issue
focuses on best practices for community inclusion - helping
people lead full lives in their communities. Articles in
this issue cover a variety of areas including life-sharing,
developing personal and reciprocal relationships with
others, the power of great expectations, transition
services for youth, fitness and recreation, alternatives to
guardianship, parenting and sexuality, self-determination,
life planning, and spiritual support. Articles for this
issue were contributed by family members and people with
disabilities and advocates from a variety of organizations
and agencies from across the state and nation. Funding for
this issue is provided through the Department of Health and
Human Services, the Administration on Developmental
Disabilities, and the Administration on Children and
Families.
